Redbull Playoffs

So the Redbull Playoffs took place in the Province of Quebec this last friday on March 17th.

Basically two teams were fighting (The Nordics, representing Quebec against The Canadians, representing Montreal) for the ultimate trophy of glory. Laurie was part of The Canadians.

Big Bear Mountain. Desiree got hair extensions. Thanks, Nick for the hair donations. 

Spent a night in LA.  I'm trying to show Marie how to throw the LA hand sign, but I'm doing it backwards.  Marie looks determined to master the gesture.

On the way to Mammoth Lakes and June Mtn (Miss Super Park) we saw this billboard near Lone Pine, CA.

We also stopped at a random shaman lady's art shop in Bishop, CA.  She gave us her hand made, magical beads.

She also gave us  flying kitty tattoos. It was the best temporary tattoo I've ever seen in my life.

Esthera and I drove up to Tahoe to pick up this little sucker.

Peep Show at Ms. Superpark

The Peep Show Crew has been busy all week filming at the 5th annual Women's Superpark at June Mountain, CA. Marie Hucal, Desiree Melancon, Esthera Preda, June Bhongjan, Izzy Lalive, Bev V, and Jess Kimura were all in attendance, along with many of womens' snowboarding elite. The crew was seen sending it off the hip, jumps, and quarterpipe, as well as ripping multiple follow-cam trains through the park. Check out some random photos from the first few days of the event. You'll be able to see the best of what went down when the movie drops in Fall 09. Until then, keep checking back for updates!
